Leianne and Willy, Casa Chanty Beach Villa, Destination Wedding, Playa del Carmen

Casa Chanty036

It’s the start of a new year and the start of a new, married life for Scottish couple Leianne and Willy.

Tucked away in a little known, secluded beach that is part the wonderfully named Playa del Secreto, they had a beautiful Mayan ceremony hosted by Casa Chanty and led by Shaman don Eduardo. This intimate gathering took place on the white sandy beach under a brilliant blue sky that perfectly matched the blue and white of our Scottish couple’s Saltire flag theme.

After the ceremony it was time for a beach party with a Mexican buffet and grill provided by Chef Ruben Lopez (Sinfonia Culinaria).

The weather was perfect and the beach always beautiful but it was all the tiny details that made the party so special! Custom signs, traditional Mexican talavera tiles to find your seat, a tequila bar, custom papel picado gift tags and maracas were some of  the touches of fiesta added to the day.

Today’s gorgeous wedding lets the scenery speak for itself. The decor was kept simple and minimalistic however the bold flavours of Mexican and Filipino cuisine by Chef Ruban Lopez and the all night dance party were fun, fun, fun!

Monica and Eli had guests from New York and Holland join them at the Grand Coral Beach Club for a night of dancing and celebrating under the Mexican moonlight.

After getting ready at the Royal Playa del Carmen, guests took a quick 10 minute bus ride to Grand Coral. Photostudioab015 Photostudioab016 Photostudioab017

Clear vases and white lilies were all that were needed with such a gorgeous venue and a postcard perfect day!

Paamul is a beautiful little community tucked away from all the hustle and bustle of the ever growing Riviera Maya. It’s private and naturally stunning and is a perfect spot for an intimate destination wedding in Mexico.
Todays couple, Hally and Jeff, were married at Paamul Beach Club alongside their closest friends, family and 3 children. Screen Shot 2016-05-09 at 10.43.42 PM Screen Shot 2016-05-09 at 10.44.39 PM Screen Shot 2016-05-09 at 10.44.53 PM Screen Shot 2016-05-09 at 10.45.32 PM Screen Shot 2016-05-09 at 10.45.57 PM Screen Shot 2016-05-09 at 10.46.17 PM Screen Shot 2016-05-09 at 10.46.41 PM

The always beautiful Maroma Beach was the perfect venue for Jenny and Hanley to bring their 75 guests to. November in the Riviera Maya is perfect. Balmy temps and smaller crowds make it super enjoyable so it’s no doubt it is a very popular time for weddings in our world!

Lauren and Manuel, Destination Wedding at Blue Venado Beach Club, Punta Venado

image12The natural beauty of Punta Venado gets us every time. It’s always special to make the drive through the jungle in order to reach the stunning beach waiting on the other side. Blue Venado Beach Club is perched right on the sand and is a wonderful venue for anyone looking for a rustic/beach chic wedding.

image6 image7 image4This weeks couple, Lauren and Manuel, shared our feelings about this special space and decided to invite 55 of their nearest and dearest for their destination wedding celebration.

image15The group loved the open palapa layout and dancing in the warm Mexican breeze!
